"I have just learnt laparoscopic suturing, now I can do a Laparoscopic Antireflux operation" is a phrase that we hear so often, however this statement could not be further from the truth.
There is no operation in general surgery or any surgical speciality that is technically more demanding or challenging than Antireflux surgery. Achieving consistently excellent results should be the aim for any surgeon who decides to undertake this surgery.
This course is aimed at surgeons wishing to start performing these operations and those who are in the early stage of their learning curve.
