Charity Cricket Match: Sunday 1st July 2012
Following the success of the Charity Cricket Match held in the summer of 2011, two crack cricket teams from Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust will once again face each other on Sunday 1st July at St Mark's Cricket Ground, Frant, Tunbridge Wells, to raise money for charity and also raise the profile of a common treatable gastric condition.
The teams are the IMACS team (International Minimal Access Centre for Surgery) at Maidstone Hospital, captained by Professor Amir Nisar, Upper GI Surgeon, his colleague Mr Haythem Ali, Upper GI Consultant and other colleagues.
Their opponents are the Trust Managers team, captained by Trust Chief Executive Glenn Douglas, with support from the Chairman Tony Jones and colleagues.
Homeless people in Maidstone will be the beneficiary of the fund-raising event through Maidstone Christian Care.
Our schedule of events and activities will continue apace throughout 2012.
